What are some different drums in the same family as the bongo and conga drums?
I need to know some other drums in the same family as the bongo and conga. Just one other would be fine. Thanks in advance.
How do you record different drums on seperate channels?
We were trying to do a demo recently. We ran the drum mics through our mixer and took the mixer output to the laptop. This worked fine but we obviously only had control over the master volume of the drums track and not over each individual drum. I'm just wondering how to record the drums in a way that gives you volume control over each individual drum without having to record them one at a time.
Are there different drums for different styles of music?
I have a ludwig with a 22 bass, 14 snare, 12 tom, 8 tom, 14 floor tom and two add on toms that are 8 inch and 10 inch. And then I have 5 zildjian cymbols a 13 inch zbt hihats, 14 inch zbt crash, 16 inch zbt crash, 18 inch ride crash, and a 14 inch zxt total china. The style of music I am into is Grindcore, Death Metal, Hardcore, ect. And when I play my drum set it sounds nothing like the drums I hear when I listen to mp3's or go to shows. Do I need to tune it? I really have no clue. If you have any idea let me know.
I have 2 different drums sets a Borg from sams club and a old Slingerland Which one should i keep?
The borg drum set is in better condition then the slingerlands. and i am thinking of keeping the slingerlands but anyone know which one i should keep?
Is it still considered plagiarizing if you take a song's melody but add different drums to the song?
I have a song belonging to a music artist and I've been experimenting with DJing it currently. I've changed the pitch and speed of the song and I've added different drum samples than what it originally had. That's DJing right? I have the right to call it produced by me?
Names of the different drums in a drum kit?
