What does air drumming mean?
I like to follow the drumming of nice songs and start tapping with my fingers to them, is that air drumming?
How would you describe the drumming intro in Carousel by Blink 182?
Good drumming songs anyone?
Does anyone know any challenging drum songs? I've been doing stuff like Stockholm Syndrome Muse, Up All Night blink182 and Revelry Kings of Leon but they are quite simple so I want something that I have to work on for a while to get it right. Any ideas? Thanks
What Are Some Hard Jazz Songs To Play On Drums?
I know anything by Buddy Rich, like Straight No Chaser. But what are some Jazz songs that are just excruciatingly hard to play on drums. I'm new to Jazz, but I like Metal that has Jazz y drumming. Like Mastodon, Between The Buried And Me, etc.
Should I attempt to switch to drums?
Ok, so I have been playing guitar and bass for the past uhhhh.... 7 8 years? and I feels like I'm starting to get bored of both. Normally, when I get bored of guitar, I play bass for a while then switch back to guitar and so on, but lately, I have just been bored of both, and getting more into drums as the days go by. Now Im not sure if it's because I work in a music store that sells more drums then guitars more of a drum store then anything or that I really like air drumming, or watching drum covers on youtube nowadays. Which ever it is, I have been getting more and more of a love and want for drums. Although I am not sure if it is because of the fact I work in a drum store, or the others listed above, or that I have some natural talent with it I have played on other peoples kits and they say I have some natural talent for never owning a set in my life but there is a problem, even if I want to, how do I break the news to my parents about it, they are really big on music for me, but I am not sure how they would take the idea of me wanting to switch over to drums. Plus, aren't drums somewhat expensive? So, should I talk to my parents about it and see if I can or not, or take a break from guitar bass and see if I have any interest to go back to it?I think part of the reason why I am feeling like this as well, is because I really want to get into some sort of band, and it seems like people need a drummer more then a guitarist bassist. and it would be more of an easier time to get into a band that is serious if I am a drummer over being a guitarist. So, what do you guys think?
Which is better to learn?Guitar or Drums?
I have great interest in both guitar and drums. But I don't know which one to learn. My friends said drums and a few others said guitar.Im not very sure. Which is easier to learn? Can you maybe just give a short description about both or recommend something?
