Which is better?The regular drum set or the electronic drum set?
I wanna get a drum set.The problem is I live in HDB.I really wanna get the regular drum set.But my room is not sound proof and I don't have curtains.I only have blinds.So,I'm kind of thinking of getting the electronic one mainly due to the volume control.But at the same time,I don't wanna get something that I dont really want.What should I do?Which kind of drum set should I get?
Do all cymbals on an electronic drum set sound bad?
I was looking to purchase an electric drum set because I live in an apartment that is adjacent to 3 others so there is an obvious need to be quiet. I have been looking at kits and some have real cymbals and most have rubber cymbals I was wondering if the rubber cymbals made an unrealistic sound? I'm a studio musician looking just for a set of drums to record with and I need some advice any help would be appreciated

I'm planning to get an electronic drum set for my room very soon acoustic isn't an option my parents would murder me . I was just looking around at the electronic drum sets for sale on te Guitarcenter website and in the pictures, all but two of the drum sets only had one bass pedal, and the ones that I saw that did have double bass were REALLY expensive, like $4000 However, I've read a few reviews and descriptions that imply that you can customize a cheaper electronic drum set to have two bass pedals. Is this true, or are one vs. two bass pedals the difference between a high price and a low price?
How can I upgrade my electronic drum set?
I bought an 8 pieces electronic drum set some time ago and despite having lots of fun, I would like it to have, at least 1 more cymbal and also the module is not the best. Can I buy myself a better module and expect it to work with my pads? So far I haven't found anywhere where they sell them separately...Thanks

I'm looking at these drums on a site, to start learning drums, and it says they have a dual trigger snare pad does that mean they have more than a one sound range? I mean, if you hit the rim, does it sound like you're hitting the rim, or like some kits just sounds the same as if you hit the centre? Thanks

sooo I think I'm going to be getting one of those Alesis DM5 electronic drum set, but i have nooo idea what size of amp I need and whatnot. I don't get too serious with drums..not at all.
