Should i learn guitar or drums?
Yo, i am a 14 year old boy, and i want to start learning an instrument. Like the question said Should I learn guitar or drums? I want to learn drums because its different from other people from school because everyone plays guitar, but i heard decent drum sets can cost alot I want to play guitar because it seems like a cool instrument, but again, alot of people at school plays guitar, but I already have a old guitar that my sister bought but never used i also have an amp for it, really i dont care which one i learn but i want to learn at least one, it would be fun to learn both but i dont know if my parents will let me Oh and if it is possible if tere is like a site that kinda teaches you how to learn guitar or drums without haviNg to pay and no teachers that would be cool too Thanks
I need help finding the pitch or note of this size drums? help?
I have tama drums and need help finding the note pitch of top and bottom of my drums. snare 14x5.5" hi tom 12x 8.5" med. tom 13x9.5" low tom 16x15.5" bass 22x17.5" these aren't exact measurements so anything close to these please tell me the notes pitch for each drum. please and thank you they are 2 ply heads.

Tuning Roland v12 Electric Drums?
This is probably an odd question to ask, but I was wondering how exactly I can tune my Roland v12 Electric drum kit. It consists of a hi hat, snare, 3 toms, kick, and a crash and ride cymbals.I've been using the same kick bass setting for my toms and they sound terrible. I'm wondering how I could tune them to possibly sound like Danny Carey's drum set on Undertow, or just something that would generally sound well.Again, I know this is a pretty odd question so any help would be greatly appreciated
How to use rock band 3 pro drum kit as midi?
So I have seen lots of videos on youtube of people using Rock Band drum kits with various drum VST's. I recently bought Rock Band 3 pro drums myself and I got a xbox 360 wireless receiver. I installed the drivers for the receiver and my laptop Windows 7 won't recognize the drum kit. I tried lots of various softwares to assign pads and use them as midi controllers but nothing recognized my drum kit. I tried Rock Band Drum Machine, etrigger. midiox and etc. BUT. The funny thing is when I open Elder Scrolls V Skyrim... I can control the game with my drums So I thought that maybe those applications I've been trying to use are not compatible with windows 7. Any suggestions how to solve the problem?

Any electronic drum kits for under 100 dollars?
Well, I'm 14 15 in just a month And I've been playing guitar 3 1 2 years, and bass for 3 years. Lately, I've been wanting to learn how to play the drums too, but the thing is, acoustic drum kits are too loud and expensive I know they make suppresors for kits, but I also can't fit a huge acoustic kit in my froom, so that's definitely not an option for me I was thinking about an electronic drum kit instead since they have many customizable sounds, are more portable, and I can use some VSTi's for the sound. I was thinking about buying a Yamaha DD65, but it's 200 bucks, and i don't want to spend anymore than 100. Are there any MIDI electronic drum kits that you could put on your bed like the DD65 For under 100 dollars? If so, then please share.
