Good starter drum kits?
Hey guys, I just recently got into drumming and am ready to buy my first drum kit, but I'm not too sure which one to get. Here are the two I've been considering musiciansfriend.com product Pulse 5Piece Kit with Cymbals?sku 443859guitarcenter.com Sound Percussion 5 Piece Drum Set 490865 i1372732.gc?buildkit 1Both seem to have recieved pretty good feedback from buyers and are within my price range. barely, I only have about 320 dollars, plus I'm probably gonna' have to borrow a little from my dad too depedning on which kit I buy My current dilemma is that the SP kit doesn't come with symbols, but the Pulse kit does, but the Pulse one costs 70 dollars shipping and SP one has free shipping. Hey,I used to play the drums a while back, so I'm not a complete novice and got rid of my kit. I recently rekindled my love of the drums and I am wanting to buy a new one. The reason I got rid of it last time was parent's nagging about noise, not enough space ect. My dad is rennovating our garage so it could go there. I've found these 2 kits and they seem to be of reasonable spec? What do you think. Is the cymbal included in the starter drum kit from Silvertone a crash or ride cymbal?
I have the starter drum kit from Silvertone. It has the snare, 2 toms, floor tom, and the bass drum. I have for cymbals the hi hat, and another cymbal but no idea if its ride or crash cymbal
